Adobe released Flash for Tablet

Adobe has released Flash Player 10.2 for Android. The release also showed Flash availability for Android 3.0.1 Honeycomb, which is Google OS for tablet PC. The update purpose is to present Flash into tablet device like Motorola Xoom. Adobe stated that they cooperated with Google to assure integration and optimization between Flash Player 10.2, their latest OS and ability of browser.

The cooperation result, as stated by Adobe, is browser integrated and functional experience. Adobe wanted to assure Flash which appear on Android table is similar as PC desktop.

For now, Flash 10.2 for Android 3.0 still on beta version. In some next weeks, Adobe wanted to release GA version of Flash 10.2 for Android Honeycomb which made hardware acceleration possible.

Meanwhile, support Stage Video and hardware acceleration has been added for Flash Player 10.2, which has released on February. If they were combined, this technology could increase playback from HD video and embedded contain at tablet device.
