Mozilla Will Release Free “Junior” Browser for iOS

World’s giant browser company, Mozilla Firefox, seems to have a new ‘brother’. Mozilla recently is developing a browser in webkit-basis which can be used in iOS device, such as iPad. It surely a good news for iPad owners who love this Mozilla browser.


The preparation of this Mozilla “Junior” surely will increase the competition tension of iOS brosser which previously settled by Safari, Atomic, Dolphin, mercury, Opera Mini also Skyfire.

As “Junior” prototype demo several moments ago which was “exhibited” by Mozilla, they seemed developing a truly new browser. Junior is not equipped with tab just like common browser, but this browser is equipped with two buttons: Back and Plus.




Recent Pages is displayed in thumbnail in upper side of the browser, while bookmark bar and search bar is located below. This “Junior” design seems to have certain aesthetic, different with common iOS browser.

“Junior” seems not to be released in the near time. Mozilla is still developing it, and there’s some debate related to various features to be implemented. For you, iPad owner who waited the Junior born, please be patient. SOT will inform continuously about this free browser development.
