QuBIT, a free puzzle-racer game for iOS devices has just updated two days ago. It’s updated to version 1.2.0 with several features and improvements. QuBIT 1.2.0 comes with Retina Display support, new challenges, leaderboards, rebalanced slider controls, smoother frame rate, graphical improvement and other tweaks.

The new version of QuBIT comes with two new playable QuBots: QuBYT and QuTI. Besides those new characters, QuBIT 1.2.0 also comes with Surge game mode and a new Frost track. However, they are locked in default. Users should pay $0.99 to unlock those new features.

QuBIT requires iOS 4.2.1 or later. It supports iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. However, to take the most advantage of the new QuBIT features (retina display and next-gen effects), it is better when it is installed on iPhone 4 or iPad 2.
