If you’re Mac OS X Mountain Lion user, recently you can get the latest Safari 6 browser. This Safari 6 has some development and new features which are not provided by the previous version of Safari.
Some new feature and development done by Safari 6 are:
1. Unified Smart Search Field
This is a smart feature planted in Safari 6 address bar to find site address which probably you want to search automatically. For example, when you typed on “national ge”, safari will directly view history, top hits, bookmark, and other sources to give suggestion. The result, you’d probably get nationalgeographic.com or other result you might once visited before.
2. Tab View
You can view tabs preview you’ve opened easily. Just pinch and a huge thumbnail of each tab display will be appeared. You can move it to the left and right just like a photo gallery.
3. iCloud Tabs
Do you remember the latest feature of Google Chrome 20? Now Safari 6 has it too. Via iCloud Tabs feature, history of various websites you’ve opened in Mac, can be accessed in other devices, such as iPad or iPhone and also the opposite. You just have to click on iCloud Tabs to view it. If you want to turn it off, just activate private browsing feature.
Now you can also share website page you like to Facebook, Twitter, Email, etc. each time you found interesting page and want to share it, just click on Share button.
5. backend Improvisation
If you’re Mountain Lion user, you can download Safari 6 here:
Unfortunately, Snow Leopard and Windows user couldn’t enjoy this thing. If you visit the page, there’s no single download link you’ll find. Apple seems not prepared Snow Leopard and Windows version yet (or probably has no plan to prepare them at all??). This Safari 6 development will be monitored by SOT, and if there’s something new, SOT will report it to you all :)
