How to Backup and Restore Bookmark in Mozilla Firefox

There’s a time for our computer to re-install. At that time, all of our program will be disappeared just like swept by hurricane :D. if you like to surf the internet, you’d probably bookmark the sites you love or needed. But, there’s possibly a situation where your computer attacked by virus and should be re-installed.

What should you do to save your bookmark collection? Do you have to call SWAT to save it? Ok, I’m just joking :) Then what should you do to save your bookmark collections? It’s easy, we just have to backup bookmark from Firefox, and after the computer re-installed, we just have to restore it.

Here is the way to backup Mozilla Firefox bookmark:

1. Click on Bookmark menu, then click on Show All Bookmark or Ctrl+Shift+B.


2. Click on Export and Backup menu, here you can choose two ways to save or backup your bookmark, which are by backup or export features. The different is located in its storage format, backup has JASON format which can only be read by firefox, but if you export it to HTML, you can put all your bookmark collections to all browsers you had.


3. After you select one of the methods above, you’ll get backup bookmark from collection you had. Here is how to restore Mozilla Firefox bookmark:


Do until the second process, here you can select restore and import features. If you select restore feature, file you should open would be in JASON format, but if you select export, the file you should open would be HTML.
