How to do it, you’ll only have to login to outlook.com using your hotmail account.
Want to return into hotmail again? No problem… Just click on icon Settings then select Switch Back to Hotmail.
Upgrading Hotmail into Outlook using alias Email
By this way, you can add alias email in your hotmail. It means, you can insert to 15 alias email address.
It’s so easy, you’ll just have to login to outlook.com using your hotmail account. Select icon settings => More mail settings => Create a outlook alias.
Insert alias email address you wanted.
By this step, you can have outlook email without registering to outlook. Email sent to your alias email will directly headed into your main hotmail account. But you need to remember that you cannot login using alias email, but you have to login using main hotmail address.
Upgrading Hotmail into Outlook by Renaming Email
It is a step if you want to change your hotmail into outlook totally. You can rename your hotmail account into new outlook account. By this step, your hotmail account will automatically turn into alias email, and the new outlook account will automatically become your main email.
It’s so easy too. You’d just have to click on icon settings => More mail settings => Rename your email address.
After that, insert your new email address as you wanted.
