Why did SOT give an apostrophe in “restart” word? Because actually, what those software needs is not a physical restart, but only restart process in explorer.exe only.
In this tutorial, SOT will teach you how just by doing double click, you’ll be able to restart explorer.exe. it will save your time when installing/updating so many software which needs restart.
Okay, let’s follow the manual below to create the fastest Turbo Restart shortcut ever made :D
1. Right click on desktop, then select New => Shortcut.
2. Paste this code in item location form.
cmd.exe /c taskkill.exe /f /im explorer.exe && start explorer.exe.
Click on next.
3. Name the shortcut as you wanted, for example TurboRestart. Click on Finish.
Alright, now your TurboRestart shortcut is already available. When there’s any software ask for restart after it is installed/updated.
Just double click on TurboRestart and BOOOOM.. in seconds, explorer.exe restart process will be finished and those software can be run.
