Safe Mode for Windows is a condition where Windows only use drivers and the most needed program to run Windows. This condition wouldn’t make program which could be set automatically when Windows Run could run. Safe Mode has functios to diagnose hardware driver and computer problem which got infected in Windows 8. besides, Safe Mode would be absolutely helpful when you want to uninstall certain software or deleting a file which is undeletable when Windows run normally.
To be able to get into Safe Mode in Windows 8, you need to enter “Advanced Startup options menu.” First of all, open Start Screen and type “advanced”, select Setting categories in Search column.
After that, click on General menu and scroll down to get “Advanced Startup” menu”. Then click on “Restart now”.
You’ll receive many options, click on “Troubleshoot” option.
After that, there would be Troubleshoot menu. Click on Advanced options.
Click on Startup Settings.
Then there would be appeared Startup Settings, Click on Restart.
There are three Safe Mode options you can select, some of them are:
- Enable Safe Mode
This mode run Windows 8 by using the most needed driver and program. This mode doesn’t run program or network system.
- Enable Safe Mode with Networking
This Mode run Windows 8 by using the most needed driver and program. It does not include program, but the network system is able to work. You can browsing or downloading program such as antivirus update.
- Enable Safe Mode with Command Prompt
This Mode run Windows 8 by using the most needed driver and program, but it doesn’t include windows shell. It means you won’t see desktop, Windows would only display Command Prompt in the screen. The network system wouldn’t work either. This mode would be very helpful to clean the infected Windows Shell or desktop when Windows is run.
After you found out the usage of Safe Mode above, you can press on 4, 5, or 6 buttons. Windows would do a restart and bring you into Windows Safe Mode.
When you already finished with this Safe Mode and you want to return into Normal Windows, you just need to return into Advance Startup Menu and click on Continue.
