Do you often play Ubisoft-made games suc h as Assassin’s Creed, Beowulf, Brothers in Arms, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon, etc? A surprising news about Ubisoft-made game appeared and spread quickly. Ubisoft’s add-ons, Extension, and game are found to have exploit crack. Via the exploit crack, certain party would be able to install or run certain program in your PC.
By certain code planted in website, or via link in email, someone would be able to install virus, keylogger, or even erase all hard disk content you have. Yup… It sounds terrifying, however, it’s the fact!
Mozilla itself has blocked Ubisoft Play add-on for Firefox. It is done so that Firefox users with installed Ubisoft software woiuldnt be effectif by this exploit crack.
If you’re Ubisoft Play add-on and extension user, SOT suggested you to uninstall or disable this add-on / extension until there’s an update or official statement from Ubisoft to overcome the problem.
Here’s a way to disable add-on and extension from Ubisoft Play
Firefox: type on :addons in address bar => Plugins => Disable plugin Uplay andUplay PC Hub
Chrome: type on about:plugins and disable Uplay extension
Opera: click on menu Settings => Preferences => Advanced => Downloads => find “Uplay” and delete
Internet Explorer: Press on Alt => tools => Manage add-ons => disable Uplay
Yes. Until update and official statement from Ubisoft that they had closed this explot crack, it would be better if you disable this Ubisoft add-on and extension first. If there’s further development about this matter, SOT would report you quickly :)
