After redesign Google Search for desktop, Google has redesigned Google Search for tablets. They have simplified the layout and make the size of page contents bigger. Now it is easier to googling using your tablet because it has bigger text, buttons and other touch targets. You can interact with the search result in a better way, both in portrait or landscape view.
The Google Search for tablet design looks very similar with the Google Search for desktop design. There is a black bar menu stripped on the top of its page. It makes easier to navigate to other Google services like Gmail, Gmaps, and more. There are several searches categorizing menu located below the search box. It provides a quick access to select specific types of results like images, places, video, shopping, news and more.
Google also improved their Google Search for Image features, such as enlarged image previews, continuous scroll, and faster loading of image thumbnails. This will give a better experience when searching images on Google Search.
iPad and Android 3.1+ tablet user could enjoy this features in the next few days. [via Google Mobile Blog]
