Have you ever thought what is the most-sold-out type and brand of cell phone in the world? Probably some of you will answer directly with BlackBerry, iPhone, Samsung etc.

The most-sold-out Handphone in the world is not iPhone which provided sophisticated features from Apple, not also BlackBerry which is famous of their BBM feature, and not also Samsung Galaxy which has became the most-sold-out cell phone in some Asia countries. The answer is a simple hand phone from Nokia, which is Nokia 1100.

Yup right, Nokia 1100, according to data taken from Wikipedia, Nokia 1100 handphone has been sold for more than 250 millions unit all over the world. Because of this cell phone Nokia then received a tag as Millions-people’s phone. The selling amount defeated iPhone 4S record which was ‘only’ more than 70 millions units or Samsung Galaxy S III which its selling level still on 30 million units per September 2012.

Nokia 1100 needed about six year to get selling level for 250 millions units. That six year is between 2003 to 2009. so, each year, Nokia 1100 in average sold more than 40 millions unit.

Handphone which was produced in 2003 had unique feature consisted of flashlight on the upper side of phone. How to turn the flashlight on is also easy. You’d just have to press C, then the flashlight can be used by the owner. Although it is simple, it’s proven that this feature commonly loved by the owners. This feature is really useful when there’s a heavy fog or electricity problem.

According to PG conclusion, this Nokia 1100 can be the most-sold-out cell phone in the world, since this hand phone would be able to touch all people economic hierarchies, whether up economic class, moderate junior high school or low economic group, because, as PG found out, this hand phone was tagged for such quite cheap price, even it’s too much.
