Samsung Upgrading Galaxy S II to 1,2 GHz Dual Core Processor

Samsung Galaxy S II which announced since Mobile World Congress 2011 last February is not in the market yet until now. It reportedly because Samsung still busy to re-design the hardware in Galaxy S II especially in its processor.

Samsung has confirmed that Android Gingerbread based mobile will never marketed before June 2011 since Samsung is not satisfied yet with 1 GHz dual core processor in Galaxy S II. They decided to do upgrade so the processor power will be 1,2 GHz dual core.

This Galaxy S II processor changed was announced by Samsung in Estonia region. Then source from GSMArena media stated that the South Korea vendor did upgrading in Galaxy S II processor in last minutes.

Seemed like Samsung didn’t want its Galaxy S II lost on feature by other competitors smartphones and they didn’t want to get embarrassed in this tight smartphone competition world.
