Who’s the photographer?
Windows XP wallpaper photographer is a professional photographer named Chuck O’Rear. He’s one of the founding father of National Geographic Magazines.
Where’s the photo location?
Windows XP Wallpaper took location in a garden at Sonoma, North California.
When did it take?
The picture was taken when Chuck O’Rear was in a way to his girlfriend’s house in San Francisco. When he’s on the way from Napa to San Francisco, he passed Sonoma in North California region. He saw green grass and blue bright sky. Finally, he went down from his car and capture the moment. It happened around January 1996.
O’Rear said that the photo was taken like that and there’s no digital effect or modification to the photo.
