Windows XP: The Most Insecure Microsoft OS

Microsoft has just launched the latest security report related with their Windows operating system. In the report, Windows XP became the most vulnerable OS about virus and malware attack compared with other OS.

In the report, averagely there are 9.5 from 1000 workstations Windows XP SP3 infected by malware in the first six month in year 2012. the amount are more compared than Vista infection level which for Windows 7, each of them are 4.9 and 5.3 from each 1000 computer.

By the high infection level, even one of world security computer, Sophos, called Windows XP as the source of dizziness in security problems for Microsoft. It’s not surprising since viewing statistical data from Microsoft, Windows XP infection level are almost twice compared with Windows Vista or Windows 7 level.

By this report publication, it’s clear that Microsoft truly asked their consumers to leave Windows XP OS. Previously, Windows XP usage are also decreased, and the most popular OS in the world today is Windows 7.
