To help searching file in your hard drive, you can use Windows-supporting third party application, which is Ultra Search!
Not like other searching software, Ultrasearch utilize NTFS Master File table which makes it possible to do overall searching when you started to type. Even you can give DOS-type-command, like SpyOnTech.* to search all file named SpyOnTech. The result would be presented in a list. This application also displayed additional information like file size and latest data modification.
After installation, you’ll get interface contained searching bar and result list. Below it, you’ll find your drive list with their volume. Tick on all of them if you want overall searching to all part of your hard disk.
If you want to do searching, then you’d just have to insert keywords you wanted and tick on which drive you want to do searching.
You can also use Ultra Search to find one group of file with similar extension. You’d just have to exchange the file name with symbol (*) (without parentheses), then Ultra Search will display the similar-extension file, for example *.exe.
