When you cleaning up your computer by erasing unimportant file or folder, have you found any trouble? For example, folder which suddenly show error message? If the answer is yes, probably the file or folder is in locked condition, or probably used in related program.
It’s quite annoying, isn’t it? For you who want to open folder but troubled by error message, just use File Governor. Yup.. File Governor is a free software you can use to search for all file and folder inside your locked computer directory. So, finally you can open it again, and you can erase it for sure. Curious? If you’re already in File Governor page, you’ll see two options of execution and portable version. If you want to directly used this software without doing any installation, you can select portable. After it is downloaded, install and run File Governor.
To start using by putting locked file or folder list, slide cursor in tab menu. Select menu Search for Locked Files. Find where the file is located, or you can also do more search in all your computer drive.
If you’ve already done with it, File Governor will display all locked file category.
After that, you can start to open file or folder by right-click on one of the list, then select Handle Options and Unlock menu. If you want to open all locked file list, select Unlock All.
If you succeed, you’ll see dialog box as image below.
Not just to open locked file, here you can also do other assignment related with file list, such as force-delete file, rename, copy file. More good news, File Governor also provides quick access you can use to head into Task Manager, Registry Editor, System Restore, Service Manager, CMD DOS Prompt, Windows Explorer, System Properties and Control Panel.
