InstallGuard is a software to manage and prevent someone else installing software in computer. This application is protected by password so there would be no one able to install or uninstall certain application from your computer as long as this application active.
This application is able tot track and produce snapshot system, so you’ll get information about your system change and whether certain application is change or not. This application is also able to monitor and block various process and makes possible for certain user (in profile PC) to install or uninstall your software.

When entered this application for the first iem, you’d be directed to manage password which you can change later. The default password of this application is: password. Its interface has five tabs on the top, they are Dashboard, Installed Software, Installation/Process Monitor and Blacklist and Change Tracking.
Left pane has various different features, they are Reset Password and Database Maintenance (under Settings), User Whitelist, and Maintenance Schedule (when this article is written, the feature is still not available yet). Dashboard displays some certain functions such as Status, Snapshots, Change Tracking, Process Detection and Process Blocking. On below page, there would be displayed snapshot history graphic which shown application amount and changes happened in the application.
If there are some people often use your PC, so you need to insert their profile into whitelist.
Installed Software Tab presents Snapshot History and some configuration to save snapshot. You can run it in startup and specifying time interval in creating the snapshot. So you can analyse changes happened to your application in this PC. History will display snapshot time, username, the application amount, and App List File.
This application is suitable for you who live with many people, whether family or friends, then all use PC alternately. You can monitor changes happened to applications in your PC easily by using this application. You can also evade the “messed” computer after it is used by someone else.
