The Next Firefox Design = Google Chrome Design??

Even it definitely has its own approach, the next Firefox design is very similar with Google Chrome Design. The nightly version of Firefox design brings the browser closer to looking Google Chrome browser. The design mock-up from the Firefox nightly has some radical changes to the browser’s interface.

There are several changes on the next Firefox design:

1. The Firefox search bar has been removed.
The next Firefox search bar has been merged with the location bar, just like the search bar on Google Chrome.

2. The Firefox in-focus tab gets rounded corners.
The next Firefox will have rounded corners on its tab, just like the Google Chrome’s tab.

3. The Firefox add-ons manager has a new implementation.
The next Firefox add-ons manager page will get a new implementation. It allows you to search add-ons directly from add-ons manager without opening a new tab. Installing add-ons also would be easier because it has an ability to drag and drop add-ons to install them.

4. The next Firefox has only a single interface bar.
The next Firefox mock-up has only a single interface bar that would contain location bar, Home button, tabs, menu button.

It is indicated that Google Chromes continues to influence other browsers, including Mozilla Firefox. Now, let’s wait for Mozilla to implement this design mock-up on their Firefox Final.
